How does the e-voting module make voting easier?
Upon entering the precinct the system will recognize you by your facial biometrics and will request for fingerprint identity confirmation. Once the system successfully identifies the voter, it will greet the voter by name. Choosing a candidate is as easy as touching their faces on the computer screen.

How would the system cater for the illiterate?
Unlike existing paper ballots, the voter is not required to write the names of the candidates down. With Botong Pinoy, the voter is only required to touch the face of the candidate on the screen.

Does the system cater to the disabled? What are the provisions for the disabled?
The system has multimedia capabilities. The system will talk to the user in the dialect of their choice, giving the voter instructions on how to use the system. If the voter is blind, an aid will assist the voter and the system will confirm the selected candidate audibly. If the voter is deaf, the pictures of the candidates on the screen will aid them.

How is the voter assured that the candidates chosen are the ones counted by the system?
Prior to counting the votes, a screen will appear and will ask the voter for verification of the candidates chosen. After verification a ballot will be printed containing the candidates’names. The ballot is then dropped into the ballot box.

How does Botong Pinoy eliminate vote buying?
The key component for the success of vote buying is that the vote buyer is given proof that the candidates they want were chosen. Botong Pinoy prints the ballots after voting and the ballot is immediately dropped into the ballot box; therefore, there is no way that the voter will be able to give the vote buyer verification.
